UBS WEALTHWAY

UBS Wealthway is a wealth management product app for high net worth individuals. Native IOS iPad and iPhone apps for one of America's most trusted financial services with tools to set future milestones, get news and insights relevant to your perspective, view your account details, and contact your Financial Advisor among other features.

The Challenge

To redesign their online services and create an iPad experience, to engage high networth clients in an elevated conversation about their wealth and provide confidence in helping them plan for their financial needs.

A truly user-centered experience for existing clients—through discovery, planning, and advice—that enables them to thrive and drives organic growth for UBS. UBS, world’s largest wealth manager noticed a gap in the customer journey for their high-net-worth clients, their usage and engagement with digital channels was extremely low.

Business Goal

-Drive higher client engagement with UBS digital platforms
-Better support Financial Advisors in serving UBS clients
-Stay competitive in the industry

The ambition required a transformation at the heart of the business. By combining both a human-centered design approach and agile development methodologies, we created a new way of working within UBS that supports the development of superior client digital experiences.

Our Approach

I was the UX owner for multiple features of the Client Digital Experience iPad and iPhone apps and collaborated with design leads, visual designers, researchers, business analysts, content strategists & product managers across NY & Mumbai.

My Role

Some of the primary features I worked on were Onboarding, Activities, Balances & summary, Holdings, Voice to Text, Financial Productivity Report and Mobile Check Deposit among many others.

The iPad App launched in the US in March 2019 & iPhone App in November 2020.

This allow the client foresight into the features of the MVP. Through the workshop and audit of the old experiences, the team was able to hone in on the particular areas of the MVP that was most feasible for tech and for the clients launch date.
